Proud Fathers for Daughters began in 2014, following the heartbreaking Nirbhaya incident, which profoundly impacted the nation and emphasized the importance of valuing our daughters. The event was conceptualized by the founder of Project Nanhi Kali, Anand Mahindra, and renowned photographer Atul Kasbekar.

For the past decade, some of India's most celebrated photographers have come together annually to capture portraits that speak louder than words — fathers standing proudly beside their daughters.
